Fatal1ty Story Who knew that at age 19, I would be a World Champion PC gamer? GOING PRO I started professional gaming in 1999 by entering the Cyber-athlete Professional League (CPL) tournament in Dallas, winning $4,000 for coming in third place, after which I flew to Sweden for a competition against the top 12 players in the World. I took first place, making me the top ranked Quake III player in the world. After defending my CPL title in Dallas by winning the $40,000 prize I entered competitions all over the world, ultimately competing on 6 continents. WINNING STREAK For the next 6 years I competed in multiple tournaments and claimed 12 world titles in 5 different games, something no one else has ever done and a feat of which I am extremely proud. My biggest win was the 2005 CPL World Tour Championship in New York City and the $150,000 prize. In August 2007 I was honored to receive the first ever Lifetime Achievement Award from the eSports-Award organization. LIVIN' LARGE Now I'm realizing a dream by playing video games for a living. Since those first big tournament wins, I have been a "Professional Cyber-athlete", traveling the world and livin' large with lots of International media coverage on outlets such as MTV, ESPN and a 60 Minutes segment on CBS to name only a few. I've always been athletic and took sports like hockey and football very seriously, working out and training hard. This discipline made me a better gamer and my drive to be the best has helped me become a professional. DREAM Creating the Fatal1ty brand and introducing quality hardware products to a global market has been a dream come true. My vision for Fatal1ty hardware is to let gamers focus on the competition without worrying about their equipment, something I've preached since I began competing.
